Easy Reishi Raw Vegan Chocolate

Reishi mushroom (Ganoderma lucidum) is one of the most famed tonic herbs of all time. It has been used in Traditional Chinese Medicine for thousands of year to reduce stress, promote longevity, strengthen the immune system, increase energy and support healthy aging. Reishi is known as a tonic for elevating the spirit (Shen) and promoting mental well-being, calmness and cultivating peace, love and happiness. Sounds like exactly what I need so got my hands on Teelixir an Aussie brand who make certified organic medicinal blends. I’ve been adding it to my morning cuppa and absolutely love it but I decided to try something a little bit different today so here is a recipe for an easy-peasy Reishi raw chocolate.

I always use Niulife coconut oil when I make raw treats. I fell in love with Niulife, a social enterprise, when I started working in a health food store and sincerely recommend their range to everyone.  Niulife products are certified organic, ethically produced and sustainably sourced with 100% of the profits going back to the Pacific Island communities which produce it.  AND THEY TASTE AMAZING!
